Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including payroll, GL, AP and AR.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A processes.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and management reports.
• Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors and financial institutions.
• Develop and mentor the finance team for high performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Develop and manage the company's budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial compliance.
• Analyze financial performance, identify key trends, and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and develop the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Drive efficiency and effectiveness across all financial processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CA(SA), CIMA, or ACCA is mandatory.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or controlling role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, FP&A, and corporate finance.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
