Job summary

APG Federal Credit Union (APGFCU) is seeking a dedicated branch professional who combines personal banking with financial concierge services. You will engage members, educate on products, and help them navigate digital tools to enhance their financial wellbeing.

In this hybrid, in-branch role you’ll open accounts, process transactions, and build lasting relationships. Candidates should have consultative sales experience and a passion for people helping people, with a strong service mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with additional specialized training equivalent to two years college, experience can be credited in lieu of education.
• One-year consultative sales experience required with a proven record of accomplishment building member loyalty and expanding financial literacy and well-being.
• Knowledge of financial institution products and services; ability to meet goals; strong communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills; comfortable using technology and teaching others how to use digital tools, including ITMs, tablets and digital banking apps.

Responsibilities

• Engage and educate members, delivering financial education and promoting APGFCU solutions.
• Open new consumer and business accounts and perform routine maintenance on deposits and loans.
• Assist members with transactions and troubleshooting through ITMs and digital channels.
• Develop relationships by following up on interactions, identifying lending needs and offering financial wellness guidance.
• Support branch operations, ensuring security, accuracy and excellent member service.
