UW-Stevens Point invites applications for a Financial Coach Manager Intern to support student financial literacy initiatives on campus. This part-time role requires organizing workshops, coaching peers, and coordinating speakers and events.

Qualifications

  • 3.25 GPA required; finance or accounting major preferred.
  • Faculty reference may substitute for GPA.
  • Familiarity with programming events for financial literacy.

Responsibilities

  • Help plan, organize, and advertise student financial coaching workshop.
  • Serve as a financial coach for UWSP students.
  • Organize financial coaching schedule and oversee peer financial coaches.
  • Correspond with speakers and others.
  • Send follow-up thank you notes.
  • Help coordinate financial literacy speakers and events.
  • Attend weekly office hours to be available for questions and consultations.
  • Lead on-topic workshops aimed at increasing financial literacy among UWSP students.
  • Research and post resources for financial literacy on website/social media.

Requirements
  • 3.25 overall GPA*; major within Sentry School of Business and Economics, preferably in Finance or Accounting. *A faculty reference may be substituted for GPA requirement.
  • Familiarity with and enthusiasm for programming events for Financial Literacy events, most notably the financial coaching program.
  • Able to make a commitment through May 2026.
