Job summary

UCLA Health seeks a senior leader to guide the Front-End Revenue Cycle operations in Los Angeles. Lead the Financial Clearance Unit and ensure strong financial performance and high-quality service in a world-class health system.

You will oversee Insurance Verification, Authorization/Referral Management, Pre-Registration/Pre-Service Collections, and the Patient Advocacy Team, setting priorities, coaching staff, and mitigating risks in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience required.
• Three years of health care industry work experience in Front-End Revenue Cycle as a leader is highly desired.
• Proficiency in Epic front-end applications such as ADT, Cadence, and Prelude.
• Understanding of physician revenue cycle and leading measures of performance.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with patients, staff, and physicians; give and receive information, clarify policies, and mediate if necessary with patients, physicians, and technologists.
• Ability to adapt and implement frequently changing procedures.
• In-depth knowledge of UCLA governance principles and managerial best practices.
• Ability to communicate clearly and diplomatically.

Responsibilities

• Take on an important role with UCLA Health and provide leadership to the front-end FPG Financial Clearance Unit.

• Establish work prioritization for staff and ensure tasks are completed on time and accurately.

In this key position, you will provide strong leadership and day-to-day operational support to the front-end FPG Financial Clearance Unit.
