Job summary

Mid Penn Bank seeks a Financial Center Assistant Manager in Philadelphia, PA to supervise daily operations and lead the Sales & Service team. You will help achieve sales and performance goals while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

You will work with customers on deposits and loans, mentor staff, and maintain strong security controls. The role requires a flexible schedule and a focus on delivering excellent service in a busy branch environment.

Qualifications

• Two years related work experience or specialized financial education and training.
• Internal Supervisor Certification preferred.
• Associate degree in related field preferred.
• Notary experience preferred or ability to obtain notary as needed.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an NMLS registration for residential real estate loans.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet operating needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversees financial center operations and ensures compliance with deposits, withdrawals, cash handling and security procedures.
• Educates staff on policies and procedures; conducts audits and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Ensures resources (cash, staffing) are available to support customer needs.
• Reviews work, provides guidance, and makes decisions within scope of authority.
• Maintains security controls to protect the facility from crime and fraud.
• Assist customers with deposits, loans, and expanding customer relationships; refer to other lines of business.
• Set sales and service goals with the manager and lead the team to achieve them.
• Supervise employees, manage schedules, and monitor performance to provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure customers are treated with respect and receive quality service.
