POSITION SUMMARY:

The Finance Business Partner in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, will support the North America Online Retail Division. The primary focus will be on analyzing and reporting monthly results, forecasting, budgeting, and providing general financial analysis to support retail operations. The ideal candidate will have strong finance and accounting knowledge, preferably with experience in retail sales, consumer products, manufacturing, and exposure to product pricing and costing. This position reports to the Head of Finance Business Partnering Commercial at HQ in Denmark. The North America Online Retail Business is a segment of Scandinavian Tobacco Group (“STG” or the “Group”).

Responsibilities:

1. Compile and review financial results and performance metrics at various organizational levels (business units, divisions, channels, etc.)
2. Participate in business planning, budgeting, and monthly forecasting processes
3. Provide analysis and insights, linking financial data to business strategies
4. Analyze large data sets and summarize findings for leadership
5. Model business cases to inform key decision-making
6. Act as a financial advisor, supporting commercial decision-makers with financial insights
7. Undertake project-based work for strategic initiatives
8. Conduct and analyze audits of retail performance; develop reports on profitability of business units, brands, and items
9. Identify business risks and opportunities through analysis and strategic questioning
10. Drive simplification of finance processes and promote sharing best practices
11. Support the preparation of KPIs and financial analyses for senior leadership reviews
12. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to support pricing and profitability strategies
13. Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis, participate in special finance projects and cross-unit initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Minimum of 5 years of financial experience
• Proficiency in financial systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX, SAP is a plus), Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• High business acumen with the ability to articulate value
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
• Ability to work effectively in team environments to meet deadlines
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change
• Willingness to work extended hours when needed; occasional international travel (1-2 times/year) may be required
• Confidence in working with senior management
• Prepared to challenge and support business growth through analysis and insights
