  • Produce recurring and ad hoc financial reports for planning and forecasting.

Role Overview

The Business & Financial Analyst provides critical financial, analytical, and operational support to the Retail Wholesale Divisions by managing high volumes of financial and customer data while ensuring exceptional accuracy, data integrity, and compliance. The position partners closely with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Brokers, and Deduction Management to support business planning, forecasting, and customer profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain customer master data, pricing, promotional allowances, accruals, commission, and contract information, ensuring accurate data entry and system integrity.
  • Manage, validate, and reconcile large volumes of financial and customer data across multiple systems to ensure accuracy, completeness, and data integrity.
  • Coordinate the implementation of approved price changes, including preparation and distribution of customer pricing communications.
  • Manage and maintain customer Deal Planner agreements, trade contracts, and supporting documentation while ensuring compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure customer planners, contracts, proformas, and promotional investments are completed accurately and on time.
  • Prepare customer proformas for pricing, trade programs, slotting, and new business opportunities.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports to support planning, forecasting, and business decisions.
  • Research and resolve deduction issues in partnership with the Deduction Management team, Sales, and Brokers.
  • Support month-end close, internal controls, and internal and external audit requests by providing reports and documentation.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • 4-year college degree or significant related experience
  • 2+ years relevant work experience
  • Prior CPG industry experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to accurately manage large, complex datasets.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of financial controls and SOX compliance.
