Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a dynamic Financial Analyst II to join our finance team in Denver, CO. This role emphasizes data analytics, financial modeling, and strategic insight to support decision-making, enhance reporting capabilities, and drive financial performance across the organization.

You will build advanced models, develop dashboards with Power BI and Excel, perform variance analysis, and partner with the Director of Finance and senior leaders to prepare executive-level

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a data-driven or tech-enabled environment.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, CoPilot, and ERP systems (BST, Deltek, SAP, Oracle).
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statements, and forecasting techniques.
• Excellent organization skills and ability to manage multiple deliverables.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate data into insights.

Responsibilities

• Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Build and maintain advanced models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning across KPIs.
• Data Analytics & Visualization: Create dashboards and reports with Power BI, Excel, CoPilot for leadership and operations.
• Performance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis and identify drivers of financial performance.
• Strategic Support: Prepare executive presentations and shareholder materials with senior leaders.
• Process Improvement: Improve data governance and reporting timeliness.
• M&A & Due Diligence: Support acquisition analysis and ROI scenarios.
