We are searching for a Global Tax Manager to join our team at Graebel Companies, Inc., responsible for managing, reviewing, and filing all domestic and international tax compliance requirements and tax provisioning. The role also involves preparing and reviewing complex tax planning projections for corporate estimated tax liability and supporting the operational needs of the organization. The ideal candidate has experience in both domestic and international taxation, with preferred experience in mobility, international relocation, and expatriate tax regulations, as well as implementing tax process improvements and preparing tax reports for international operations.

Required Skills and Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all organizational tax areas including domestic and international government tax compliance, VAT, GST, and sales and use taxes, demonstrating knowledge and ability to execute to completion.
  2. Develop strategic tax planning opportunities and provide ongoing tax consultation to internal clients.
  3. Respond to IRS and state agency audits, inquiries, and notices; communicate effectively with IRS, clients, and management regarding tax matters.
  4. Support ongoing activities of operations and legal teams, ensuring tax compliance and providing guidance on contract structuring related to tax issues.
  5. Advise on tax law, international transactions, and new tax regulations; engage in consulting and special projects as needed.
  6. Coordinate with foreign offices to ensure timely delivery of services, including international tax filings and regulatory compliance.
  7. Collaborate with Treasury on global cash management, repatriation, and foreign exchange risk strategies.
  8. Demonstrate expertise in mobility, international relocation, and expatriate tax regulations; lead process improvements and prepare international tax reports.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance; Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in tax return preparation, with domestic and international taxation expertise.
  • Experience in mobility, relocation, and expatriate tax regulations preferred.
  • CPA certification is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in research and tax law.
