Qualifications

  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree required. Accounting or Finance degree required.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years experience in accounting or financial analysis role required.
  • Licensure/Certification: CPA license or eligibility preferred.
  • Additional Skills (required): Proficient in excel. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong analytical and research skills

    • Financial acumen and general business savvy; will be strong financially and committed to seeing that Novant Health remains fiscally sound;
    • Strategic mindset with strong conceptual abilities; will be a planner and a thinker; will understand the “big picture” and can continuously look for ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of corporate finance functions;
    • Capable of managing multiple high-priority projects and work within the constraints of multiple deadlines
    • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a large organization; strong interpersonal skills and a highly professional demeanor;
    • High energy level; someone who understands the urgency of meeting the organization’s needs; a sleeve-up style that is comfortable doing and delegating;
    • Identifies issues and develops proposed solutions;
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting standards and application to healthcare operations
