Role: Financial Analyst – FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) – Remote

The Financial Analyst will provide critical support to Finance, Accounting, and Operations by delivering comprehensive financial and operational analysis. This role will be responsible for a variety of activities including financial reporting, variance analysis, data management, and cross-functional business support.

This position is fully remote but is open to candidates residing within the United States with a preference towards EST or CST time zone.

This reports to the Senior Director of FP&A who's awesome! It's ok if you don't have experience with everything below. Just come eager to learn with a great attitude. Need great communication skills as you will interact and work with many cross functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with Budgeting, Forecasting, Financial modeling, financial planning
• Month end close and related financial reporting of monthly results to executive leadership
• Assist in monitoring financial and operational KPIs and analytics such as: sales (pricing/volume), profitability (revenue/gross margin/expense) at the product, market and department level
• Prepare and manage weekly billing reports, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Track daily cash flow
• Conduct SG&A analysis by dept
• P&L Management
• Providing financial summaries & commentary for management
• Create dashboard and weekly flash reports for executive leadership team (ELT)
• Conduct variance analysis with explanations for drivers
• Help with process improvements and implementing best practices
• Data extraction and manipulation across different ERPs
• Compile data for board presentations

Background:

• BA degree in Finance or Accounting
• Advanced Excel skills and data manipulation
• Ideally 2+ years of Finance / Corporate FP&A, commercial or operational finance / accounting, corporate accounting OR public accounting (Tax, Audit, Consulting, Advisory)
• Knowledgeable and comfortable with financial statements and analysis
• Advanced degrees/certifications strongly preferred (CPA, CFA, CMA, Financial Modeling / FMVA, MBA, MAcc)

Compensation and Benefits:

• Target base salary of $75-85k plus discretionary bonus
• Remote within the US (preferably EST or CST time zone)
• Vacation and paid Holidays
• 401(k) match

Other:

• This is a remote role; candidates must have an appropriate home office environment.
• Occasional attendance at in-person team meetings or company events may be required, involving minimal travel.
