StevenDouglas has been exclusively engaged on a fantastic Senior Financial Analyst career opportunity in the Austin, Texas area. This role has the ability to be remote, as long as you live in the Central Texas area and are willing to travel to the Austin area once every 2-3 months.

In order to be successful in this role, individuals must have at least 7 years of experience and possess strong modeling skills coupled with expertise in Excel and Power BI. In this position, you will apply strategic and tactical expertise to develop and implement controls and processes to drive performance and optimize outcomes. The ideal candidate has a strong initiative for anticipating and meeting the business demands of senior-level executives.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop corporate reporting.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models from the ground up and forecasts that guide our strategic decision-making on revenue drivers, new product development and key initiatives.
• Conduct ongoing analysis of key business drivers, trends, variance analysis and performance indicators.
• Create and maintain critical dashboards that are actionable for Senior Leadership.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual operating plans in line with the strategic direction of the company.
• Develop and prepare executive-grade presentations and reporting for leadership team and board meetings.
• Provide ad hoc analytical support to influence decision making with financial perspective.
• Develop scalable and efficient financial processes that support the business.
• Complete special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or business related field.
• Minimum 7-10 years of relevant business experience and a proven track record of superior financial modeling and analysis.
• Proficiency in building financial and decision support models, ideally including 3-statement models and cash flow forecasts.
• Knowledge of finance and accounting principles and practices, analysis and reporting of financial data.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL.
• ERP/accounting systems and Business Intelligence solutions knowledge.
