We are seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst with experience supporting DOD Federal acquisition programs, including knowledge of relevant policies and organizational protocols.

Job Duties

• Conduct cost/price and statistical analyses supporting acquisitions, such as contractor cost proposals and incurred costs.
• Support program business management with cost estimating, budgeting, and financial obligations.
• Provide financial guidance to senior leadership, including developing requirements process cost estimates, cost-benefit analyses, and supporting development of cost models.
• Serve as financial expert on IPTs and support documentation like CDD, CPD, KSAs, and acquisition strategies.
• Analyze contractor cost estimates and change proposals.
• Train staff in acquisition cost and schedule expertise.
• Lead and manage a Contractor FM Support Team.
• Support budget formulation, execution, and financial tracking, including preparing reports and analyzing variances.
• Utilize systems like CERBERUS, Power BI, DAI, and MS Office Suite for financial management and reporting.
• Assist in budget planning, execution reviews, and financial performance tracking.
• Develop and present financial briefings and reports.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to streamline financial operations.
• Engage stakeholders on budget execution strategies aligned with APM-FM guidance.

Education/Experience

• BS/BA degree.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, finance, or government contracting, with expertise in cost/price analysis per FAR, DFAR, and Navy policies.

Specific/Preferred Requirements

• Understanding of DoD acquisition policies, such as DoD/SECNAV 5000.02.
• Knowledge of DoD PPBE processes and financial management policies.
• Preferred: DAU Practitioner in Financial Management.
• Minimum Security Clearance: SECRET.

Physical Demands

Standard office activities including speaking, hearing, sitting, standing, and occasional lifting up to 30 pounds. Visual requirements include close, distance, and peripheral vision.

Work Environment

Typical indoor office setting with quiet to moderate noise levels. Proper safety equipment must be used as appropriate.
