The role supports plant finance with budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls, requiring a bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years in accounting/finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills; ability to synthesize data and act decisively.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication; cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with Microsoft Office; Epicor, Oracle, and Hyperion experience is a plus; ITAR compliance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly forecasts and weekly updates; analyze financial and operational results.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and inventory analysis.
• Conduct self-assessment audits and ensure SOX compliance.
• Analyze manufacturing variances and plant costs affecting job costing (materials, labor, overhead).
• Support department budgeting with reviews, analyses, and reporting of key metrics.
• Assist internal and external auditors during facility audits.
• Assess factors influencing pricing and profitability of products/services.
• Report actual results and metrics to corporate monthly.
• Prepare and post journal entries and handle other accounting tasks as needed.
