Job summary

Augmentis is seeking a Financial Analyst or Senior Financial Analyst for a major manufacturing client in West Michigan. The role supports plant budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and profitability analyses for manufacturing operations; relocation is fully supported.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and at least two years in accounting or finance, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems like Epicor, Oracle, or Hyperion is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, with training in financial accounting and reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems and strong analytical ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; cross-functional collaboration.
• Epicor, Oracle, and Hyperion experience a plus.
• U.S. person status and legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly forecasts, weekly updates, and analysis of results.
• Perform account reconciliations and inventory analyses.
• Support SOX compliance and internal controls testing.
• Review variances and plant costs affecting job costing and production.
• Assist with cross-functional budget development and periodic reporting.
• Support internal and external audits and journal entries.
• Help management assess factors affecting pricing and profitability of products/services.
• Report actual financial results and performance measures to the corporate office monthly; prepare and post journal entries; handle other accounting tasks as needed.
