Job summary

RTX, the world's largest aerospace and defense company, seeks a Financial Analyst, Program Cost Controls, within the OSQ Finance organization. This role supports the Land & Air Defense Systems portfolio, coordinating with Program Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.

You will implement Earned Value Management, maintain program financial data in SAP APEX, lead forecasts, and explain variances to plans while meeting tight deadlines in a hybrid, U.S.-based environment.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience, or an advanced degree.
• Experience meeting critical deadlines.
• Experience working independently under limited supervision.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Support financial performance and program cost controls using SAP APEX and other company tools.
• Analyze data to identify issues and propose solutions.
• Implement and maintain Earned Value Management (EVM) and ensure compliant reporting.
• Prepare program financial forecasts and explain variances to plans and forecasts.
• Serve as financial liaison to non-finance teams including Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain.
