**Job Description:**

This position involves budgeting, strategic planning, variance analysis, patient accounts, and operations data, along with ad-hoc analysis processes. These are used to ensure sound financial operations and to produce financial planning and analytical solutions such as forecasts, reports, dashboards, and tools for leadership and stakeholders across the organization, supporting both business and clinical initiatives. The role provides support in developing, analyzing, and interpreting routine to minimally complex data sources to support process improvement, operations, strategy, and cost reduction. Initially performed under supervision, routine tasks are carried out with general review after training.

**This is a 100% remote position**. Currently, we are unable to consider candidates from the following states: California, Hawaii, Illinois, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Connecticut, and Washington.

**Responsibilities:**

1. Provides support and analysis for budgeting, strategic planning, variance reporting, and ad-hoc analysis for a facility, region, division, or system-wide team.
2. Supports completion of defined tasks related to routine functions such as operating and capital budgets, strategic planning, patient accounts, and operations. Non-routine tasks are closely supervised. Ensures timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks.
3. Prepares routine to minimally complex financial analyses, variance reports, and ad hoc reports. Collaborates with internal customers to develop and prepare quantitative reports analyzing clinical and operational issues.
4. Participates in system-wide processes or improvement projects under supervision.

**Qualifications:**

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited institution (education verified). This is an entry-level role with no professional experience required.
• Preferred: One year of experience in finance, accounting, or analytics conducting routine financial analysis; or two years of professional experience; or a Master’s degree with less than two years of experience.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet, email, and scheduling applications preferred.
• Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills preferred.

**Physical Requirements:**

• Ability to see, read, and assess information and equipment; frequent verbal communication with providers, colleagues, and patients; manual dexterity for computer use; ability to drive if applicable.

**Location:** Key Bank Tower, Salt Lake City, Utah

**Work Hours:** 40 hours/week

The hourly rate ranges from $32.77 to $51.61, dependent on experience.
