Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Mid-level Financial Analyst to provide timely financial analysis, record keeping, visualization, and reporting under management direction. You will apply functional knowledge and industry insight to solve problems of moderate scope and guide less experienced teammates.

You will apply knowledge to solve problems, guide junior staff, and work under general supervision. A Secret clearance and a Bachelor's degree are required.

Financial Analyst, Mid

The Opportunity:

Provide timely and accurate financial analysis, record keeping, visualization, and reporting as directed by management. Apply specific functional knowledge and working or general industry knowledge. May assist in the development of solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work under general supervision. May provide guidance for less experienced team members.

You Have:

• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook applications

• Knowledge of how to create and edit Excel functions, formulas, charts, graphs, and pivot tables

• Knowledge of data cleansing and visualization methods

• Ability to communicate effectively, provide excellent customer service, and work independently

• Ability to learn and adapt to using Naval Financial Management enterprise tools

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Department of Defense financial processes

• Knowledge of the NAVSEA organization and Naval Systems

• Ability to conduct data analysis and utilize Navy ERP and Power BI to collect and visualize data to inform leadership decision making

• Bachelor’s degree in a Financial, Accounting, or Analytical field

• Microsoft Office Excel Certification

• Completion of Warfighting Acquisition University or Defense Acquisition University Course

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,300.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
