Job summary

We Do Group is seeking a commercially minded FP&A Analyst to dive into data, understand what drives performance, and support senior stakeholders with insights across sales, margin and profitability in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will build models, support forecasts and budgets, and turn complex numbers into clear recommendations. This role offers predominantly remote work with occasional office visits and international exposure.

Qualifications

• Qualified professional (CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent) required.
• Experience in FP&A or similar analytical finance role.
• Strong commercial understanding of drivers of performance.
• Excellent analytical skills with large datasets.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability.
• Budgets, forecasting and variance analysis experience.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyse sales, margin, profitability and key drivers.
• Produce clear analyses explaining performance, trends, risks and opportunities.
• Work with large datasets to identify meaningful trends.
• Support quarterly forecasts, annual budgets and longer-term plans.
• Provide variance analysis vs forecast, budget, prior year.

A great opportunity for a commercially minded FP&A Analyst who enjoys getting into the detail, working with data and helping a business understand what is really driving performance. Working within a fast-paced retail environment, you’ll support senior stakeholders with the analysis and insight they need to make better commercial decisions. You’ll be looking across sales, margin, profitability and wider performance, helping the business understand not just what has happened, but why and what it means going forward.

• Produce clear analysis that helps explain performance, trends, risks and opportunities
• Work with large datasets, manipulating financial and commercial information to identify meaningful trends
• Support quarterly forecasts, annual budgets and longer-term financial plans
• Provide variance analysis against forecast, budget and prior-year performance
• Build financial models and scenario analysis to support commercial decisions
• Work closely with commercial teams to understand performance across different markets and areas of the business
• Produce insightful management reporting for senior stakeholders
• Help turn complex financial data into simple, commercially relevant recommendations
• Support regular performance reviews with finance and operational stakeholders
• Use Power BI and other reporting tools to improve visibility and quality of information
• Identify opportunities to simplify and improve existing reporting, forecasting and analytical processes

• Qualified CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent
• Experience within FP&A, Commercial Finance, Finance Business Partnering or a similar analytical finance role
• Strong commercial understanding and an interest in what drives business performance
• Excellent analytical skills and confident working with large and complex datasets
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling capability
• Good budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis experience
• Able to take complex information and communicate the key message clearly
• Confident working with and presenting information to senior stakeholders
