Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Financial Analyst II to join the Technology Operations team and help shape the future of global commerce. You will own financial analysis, partner with technology leaders, and support scalable decision-making with advanced analytics and strong GAAP controls.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple regions, manage priorities, and deliver clear, actionable insights using Excel and established methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
• Strong understanding of GAAP, company policies, procedures, and controls
• Ability to analyse complex financial information and develop practical solutions
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills for interpreting financial data
• Excellent planning and organisational abilities

Financial Analyst II - Technology Operations

• Team Finance

Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Financial Analyst II to join our Technology Operations team and help shape the future of global commerce.

What you’ll own

• Naturally curious with a desire to understand the underlying drivers of business performance and identify opportunities to enhance efficiencies and results.
• Solid understanding of CAPEX and OPEX accounting principles, with a working knowledge of US GAAP.
• Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet critical deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to build effective partnerships across both finance and non-finance teams.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple business functions and global regions.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyse large volumes of data and convert complex information into clear, actionable insights.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), alongside company accounting policies, procedures, and financial controls.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse complex financial information, identify issues, and develop practical solutions using established tools and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience interpreting financial and operational data to support business decision-making.
• Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
• proven track record of managing competing priorities and delivering within tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.

It’s a bonus if you have

• Experience with Oracle Fusion
• Experience with Hyperion Essbase experience
