Blue Origin is seeking a Financial Analyst (Level II) to partner with Engines Finance, translating data into leadership-ready insights. This on-site, Seattle-based role requires Excel, SQL, and BI skills to drive forecasts, variance analysis, and strategic actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, engineering, data analytics, or another analytical field.
• 2+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical role.
• Ability to define questions, structure analysis, and reconcile data.
• Strong financial modeling fundamentals with driver-based forecasting.
• Proficiency in Excel and BI visualization platforms (Power BI/Tableau).
• Working SQL proficiency and repeatable analyses across large datasets.
• GAAP knowledge to connect forecast to actuals with accounting.
• Clear communication of findings to finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly forecasts, reforecasts, and annual operating plan.
• Perform variance and trend analysis; identify risks and actions.
• Develop program element knowledge and cost drivers.
• Build driver-based models translating inputs to P&L and headcount.
• Maintain cost controls, code integrity, and audit-ready docs.
• Query and validate data from ERP and data platforms; resolve conflicts.
• Develop dashboards and recurring reports to speed insights.
• Deliver scenario analyses for resource decisions and actions.
• Apply AI/workflow automation with traceable logic and validation.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, engineering, and data teams.
