Blue Origin is seeking a Financial Analyst (Level II) to strengthen cost insights for the Engine Product Costing and Execution team. You will build automation, develop scalable monthly cost reporting, and deliver auditable analyses that influence leadership decisions.

This role emphasizes data-driven storytelling, governance, and collaboration with finance, accounting, and operations. Location is on-site in Washington state with relocation provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a highly analytical field.
• 2+ years in accounting, financial reporting, or analytics.
• Advanced Excel, SQL, and Python experience.
• Experience building repeatable analyses and automated reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication; audit-ready mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement automation using Excel/SQL (and Python) to improve cycle time and reduce errors.
• Develop scalable, controlled reporting workflows for monthly product cost reporting.
• Create repeatable analysis assets with documentation and data lineage.
• Mine and reconcile data across systems; improve data quality with root-cause fixes.
• Understand manufacturing processes and tools (MRP, CBOM, Work Orders).
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, and operations; present data-driven insights.
