Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Finance Business Partner (Senior Financial Analyst) for the Engines unit. You will deliver cost analyses, build predictive models, and provide strategic guidance to program leadership across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain.

You will translate complex financial data into clear narratives for executives, drive forecasting, and leverage AI tools to innovate finance processes in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or STEM field.
• 8+ years of financial and business analytics experience.
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
• Ability to develop pricing models from multiple inputs including market conditions.
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot), plus SQL/Python.
• Experience helping leaders meet financial targets and deliver results.
• Understanding of financial impact of business processes.
• Strong meetings skills and executive-level presentation ability.
• Ability to build trust and foster an inclusive culture.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Engines financial focal for material procurement impacts and forecasting.
• Lead program financial management including budget tracking and forecasting.
• Build and maintain financial models for cost-benefit, risk, and recovery planning.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly financial and metric reports for leadership.
• Perform data mining and analytics across platforms to support KPIs.
• Oversee risk assessment and mitigation to drive cost improvement.
• Pioneer AI-enabled financial methodologies and mentor junior analysts.
