Job summary

Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) is seeking a Finance professional to lead monthly reporting, budgeting, and planning for Warranty EBIT. You will analyze warranty expenditures and collaborate across departments to drive performance and accuracy. The role offers a hybrid schedule and strong growth potential.

Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and planning activities for Warranty EBIT, provisions, and related metrics.
  • Analyze financial and operational results, including warranty expenditures, provisions, trends, variances, risks, and drivers.
  • Support quarterly balance sheet provision reviews and business performance steering.
  • Coordinate chassis and powertrain rate planning processes, including assumptions and stakeholder alignment.
  • Prepare financial reports, KPI dashboards, management presentations, and executive reporting packages.
  • Collaborate with quality, accounting, finance, IT, and business stakeholders to support planning and decision-making.
  • Consolidate and validate financial data from multiple teams; maintain data integrity in SAP/Tagetik/Data Warehouse.
  • Perform reconciliations, quality checks, and reporting validation to ensure accuracy.
  • Support system enhancements, testing, and process documentation.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and business insights to leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement through standardization, automation, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions.

Inside the Role

At Corporate Planning and Reporting (CPR) you will become part of the finance team that is responsible for the financials of our segment Trucks North America. We are the link between all of DTNAs business units, global Daimler Truck HQ and the external capital market – in your new role, you will work with the chassis warranty process, and coordinate with stakeholders across the organization to offer a financial perspective to drive quality & warranty topics.

Position offers a starting salary range of$78,000 - $100,000 USD

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive at DTNA

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
