Job summary

Educational Media Foundation K-LOVE & Air1 Media Networks in Franklin, TN is seeking a Financial Analyst II to provide experienced-level financial analysis and modeling in support of strategic decision-making across the Ministry. This in-office role reports to the Financial Analysis Manager and involves forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning duties.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• MBA, CPA or CFA preferred or in progress.
• Minimum of 2+ years of financial analysis experience.
• Excellent Excel and financial modeling skills; knowledge of financial systems preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage non-financial audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent variance analysis and partner with departments to explain results.
• Create and refine complex financial models for capital investment and Ministry growth initiatives.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly forecasting reports for senior leadership.
• Improve existing reporting tools and propose automation or visualization improvements.
• Assist with Ministry-wide budgeting processes and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Interpret financial data and develop actionable insights that support Ministry success.
• Mentor entry-level analysts and provide quality review of work.
• Track and report on cash management processes, helping to improve forecasting accuracy.
• Collaborate with other departments to support special projects and strategic planning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Reporting to the Financial Analysis Manager, the Financial Analyst II provides experienced-level financial analysis and modeling to support strategic decision-making across the Ministry. This role independently manages portions of the forecasting, budgetary review, and financial planning process.

Employment Requirements
