Job summary

ModMed is seeking a Financial Analyst to build and maintain financial models, develop plans and reports, and support organizational decision making.

You will analyze business and financial data, perform variance analysis, and partner with executives for insights. The role requires 1–2 years of related experience and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, with a focus on SaaS metrics where applicable.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional experience as a financial analyst, accountant, auditor, or data/programmer analyst OR CPA with at least one year of professional experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a team player mindset.
• Experience with forecasting and/or budgeting, along with variance analysis.
• Basic understanding of GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and financial data.
• Build and maintain financial models based on analysis to support organizational decision making.
• Develop financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.
• Perform variance analysis vs budget and forecast, and present results to Leadership.
• Partner with General Managers and other executives for ad-hoc and recurring analyses.
• Analyze industry trends and make recommendations based on those trends.
• Develop automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
