Job summary

ModMed is seeking a Financial Analyst who will be responsible for building and maintaining financial models based on analysis to support organizational decision making. Your Role includes analyzing business data, developing financial plans, and presenting variance analyses to leadership.

You will partner with General Managers and executives for ad-hoc analyses, forecast trends, and automate reporting tools to enhance data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of professional experience as a financial analyst, accountant, auditor, or data/programmer analyst OR CPA with at least one year of professional experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and team player mindset.
• Experience with forecasting and/or budgeting, along with variance analysis.
• Basic understanding of GAAP.
• Strong financial analysis and big data analysis methods.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• SaaS industry experience preferred; familiarity with Anaplan, DOMO, Salesforce, VBA, Power Query.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and financial data.
• Build and maintain financial models to support decision making.
• Develop financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.
• Perform variance analysis vs budget and forecast and present to leadership.
• Partner with General Managers and executives for ad-hoc analyses.
• Analyze industry trends and make data-driven recommendations.
• Develop automated reporting and forecasting tools to improve data use.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
