Job Description Summary:
ModMed is seeking a Financial Analyst who will be responsible for building and maintaining financial models based on analysis to support organizational decision making.
Your Role:
Analyze business and financial data.
Build and maintain financial models based on analysis to support organizational decision making.
Develop financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.
Perform variance analysis vs budget and forecast, and present results to Leadership.
Partner with General Managers and other executives for ad-hoc and recurring analyses.
Analyze industry trends and make recommendations based on those trends.
Develop automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Skills & Requirements:
1-2 years of professional experience as a financial analyst, accountant, auditor, or data/programmer analyst OR valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certificate with at least one year of professional experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and legendary “team player” mindset.
Experience with forecasting and/or budgeting, along with variance analysis.
Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Thorough understanding of methods of financial analysis and the principles, design, and procedural methods used in big data analysis.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience working in a SaaS (Software as a Service) business preferred, but not required
Experience with Anaplan, DOMO, Salesforce, VBA, Power Query and/or DOMO preferred but not required.
