• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent is required.
• CPA and/or MBA is advantageous.
• 1–3 years of audit experience in a large public accounting firm or Fortune 500 corporate accounting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recognition of revenue and valuation of receivable reserves.
• Analyze receivables, disallowances, price concessions, and bad debt reserves.
• Analyze trends and report monthly financial results.
• Support Revenue Analytics reporting to regional leaders.
• Participate in revenue and volume forecasting and budgeting.
• Drive initiatives and recommend solutions with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain standardized revenue reporting practices.
• Identify trends and take appropriate actions with cross-functional teams.
• Integrate data to deliver insights on Revenue Performance.

Responsibilities

Kforce's client, a publicly traded company, is seeking a Financial Analyst in Rutherford, NJ. This role is commutable by mass transit from NYC. • Responsible for assisting in the recognition of revenue and valuation of associated receivable reserves for their responsible areas
• Analyze receivables and related disallowance, patient price concessions & bad debt reserves to drive the decision making process and record related journal entries
• Analyze significant trends and report monthly financial results
• Contribute to monthly Revenue Analytics Reporting to Regional Leadership Teams
• Participate in the revenue and volume forecasting and budgeting process
• Collaboratively drive initiatives and recommend solutions
• Develop and maintain standardized best practices for revenue reporting and analysis
• Proactively identify trends and collaborate with stakeholders to investigate and take appropriate action
• Integrate data from across various groups, to construct an overall understanding of our Revenue Performance that delivers meaningful insights
• Support M&A initiatives, audits, and other special projects as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent degree required
• CPA and/or MBA is a plus
• Minimum of 1-3 years of audit experience in large public accounting firm and/or corporate accounting experience out of a Fortune 500 company
• Strong computer and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
