Job summary

Reframe Systems is seeking a Financial Analyst to power FP&A, operational finance, and strategic planning for its modular microfactories. You will define unit economics, track BOM cost reductions, and build financial visibility as we scale from 1 to 10 factories.

This data-driven role sits in a fast-moving hardware startup, collaborating with Engineering, Factory Ops, and Talent to optimize cash runway and accelerate growth.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, management consulting, or startup financial operations.
• Strong modeling and numerical analysis skills with track record of building scalable 3-statement models.
• Excellent Excel/Google Sheets proficiency and data-driven decision making.
• Experience translating BOMs, inventory turns, and labor hours into financial metrics.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and BI/reporting tools.
• Startup mindset; comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-moving hardware/tech environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a quantitative field.
• Experience scaling multi-site manufacturing or hardware operations.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the company’s 3-statement financial model, rolling forecasts, and annual budgeting.
• Track monthly/quarterly actuals vs. budget and analyze key drivers of revenue and costs.
• Prepare dashboards and decks for leadership and board reporting.
• Model BOM costs, direct labor rates, and factory overhead absorption with cross-functional partners.
• Analyze unit economics for microfactories, including payback, capacity, and margins.
• Build ROI models for capital investments and factory expansion.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Software, Factory Ops, and Talent to align spend with cash runway.
