Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is seeking a Financial Analyst (Level 2 or Level 3) to support the F‑35 Team in Redondo Beach, CA. The role covers managing Sustaining budgets across Model Management, Planning SOW, Pool, and Base, with a 9/80 schedule and partial work-from-home on Fridays.

Candidates will contribute to forecasts, audits, and reporting, with strong analytical and leadership traits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with relevant experience or Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years’ proven experience in cost management, finance, business management and/or related experience.
• Experience collaborating in matrix organizations.
• Ability to communicate with CAMs.
• MS Office skills including Excel (Macros, Pivot tables and VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing large allocations for the program.
• Interface with program finance and program manager for monthly forecasts and status.
• Cross-functional coordination with multiple organizations.
• Prepare weekly/monthly analytical reports and tools for variance/trend analysis and change control management.
• Plan and navigate COBRA, Budget/Forecast analysis.
• SAP reporting.
