Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst, Corporate Finance to join our dynamic team. The position will play a key role in supporting our earnings process by producing various forecasting inputs, reports, and analysis. The position reports directly to the Vice President of Corporate Finance and involves close collaboration with senior leadership, investor relations, capital markets, accounting, asset management, and investments teams to drive decision-making and support the company’s financial goals.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of enterprise-level financial projections
- Create and maintain models, tools, and templates to enhance the accuracy, consistency, and efficiency of financial projections.
- Produce and refine inputs and forecasts for joint venture investments, G&A, capital expenditures, and other corporate items.
Coordinate and support the Ventas Quarterly Supplemental Report- Ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of high-visibility reporting.
- Manage delivery schedules for inputs and contributions from across the organization.
- Establish controls to ensure timely and accurate information.
- Critically evaluate results to ensure accuracy and consistency across disclosures.
- Foster collaboration among teams, including FP&A, Accounting, Asset Management, and Investments.
Financial Analysis and Reporting- Assist in creating presentations, including materials for the Board of Directors and Audit Committee.
- Collaborate directly with Corporate Finance team members on key projects and deliverables.
- Provide general analytical support as needed.
Support strategic initiatives- Continuously improve relevant processes and systems.
- Assist with various ongoing and upcoming automation projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or related areas, preferably in real estate or corporate finance.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis. Experience with financial software such as Yardi, MRI, or other property management systems is a plus.
- Strong ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and make decisions based on financial data.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and learn new systems or processes as needed.
