Join to apply for the Finance Analyst - FP&A role at Accruent

The Financial Analyst – FP&A is responsible for providing financial planning and analysis support to the VP, Financial Planning & Analysis, who supports the Senior Leadership of Accruent. The position requires an individual well-versed in financial analysis tools and techniques with a strong general knowledge of the software business. The main objective is to drive financial and performance reporting for all revenue, expenses, and forecasts for the Accruent leadership team.

This position reports directly to the VP, FP&A. We are a Remote First company; occasional (10%-15%) travel to our Austin headquarters or other centers may be required.

How You'll Make a Difference
  1. Conduct in-depth financial analysis and modeling to support business strategies within the software industry.
  2. Partner with senior leaders (CFO, CSO, CCO) to provide financial reports on the performance of ARR, operating expenses, and ad hoc analysis.
  3. Provide forecasting insights and deliver bookings forecasts; collaborate with sales to understand pipeline risks and opportunities.
  4. Assist in developing and managing the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
  5. Analyze financial performance against key metrics and provide insights to senior management.
  6. Support leadership in developing business models for ROI and strategic planning.
  7. Conduct monthly financial reviews for senior management, CFO, and others.
  8. Provide variance analysis, budgeting support, and deploy new technologies like AI/ML and ChatGPT to enhance reporting.
What You Bring To The Table
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related.
  2. 3-4 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting, preferably in software or tech industries.
  3. Strong communication skills, expertise in Excel, and knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
  4. Detail-oriented with good organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  5. Experience with accounting, forecasting, planning software, and ERP systems like OneStream, NetSuite, Salesforce (preferred).
  6. Knowledge of SaaS metrics, recurring revenue, churn, NDR (preferred).
  7. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Pay Range

The salary range is 56,900.00 - 105,700.00 in local currency.
