Job summary

State of Ohio is seeking a Financial Analyst Supervisor/Accounts Payable Supervisor in Columbus. You will oversee AP operations, mentor a team of financial analysts, and act as SME for invoice and Salesforce issues.

The role requires strong leadership and daily oversight of multiple financial systems. The position is based in the Rhodes State Officer Tower with standard Monday–Friday hours and travel within Ohio as needed.

Qualifications

• 54 months experience or 54 months training in accounting / finance with advanced spreadsheet skills.
• Undergraduate core program in business administration, accounting, or finance with 30 months related experience.
• Graduate core program in public or business administration with 18 months related experience.
• 12 months experience as Senior Financial Analyst or equivalent.
• Equivalent minimum qualifications as noted.

Responsibilities

• Review daily reports and approve vouchers to ensure accurate accounting.
• Lead daily AP operations and supervise staff overseeing OFIS and Salesforce issues.
• Prepare weekly reports for the Bureau Chief and conduct performance evaluations.
• Mentor staff, conduct staff meetings, and track KPIs and performance benchmarks.
• Collaborate with external partners to improve internal processes.
