Job summary

Raytheon is seeking an Analyst in Accounting & Controllership to join the Financial Accounting organization. The role offers exposure to journal entry preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and ad hoc analysis at the Business Unit Headquarters level.

You will gain experience with Raytheon accounting structures, perform flux analyses, assist with audits, and contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting efforts. This is an onsite/hybrid opportunity within RTX’s finance team.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with SAP and/or similar financial systems.
• Experience with MS Office tools including Excel.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to government access restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare schedules for Financial Reporting and Tax.
• Ensuring compliance with key internal control procedure.
• Reviewing, preparing and posting manual journal entries requests.
• Assist with audit requests.
• Perform monthly, quarterly and annual flux analysis and reports.
• Analyzing Balance Sheet accounts and reconciliations.
• Participate in special projects and analysis.
