Raytheon is seeking an Analyst in Accounting & Controllership to join the Financial Accounting organization. The role offers exposure to journal entry preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and ad hoc analysis at the Business Unit Headquarters level.

You will gain experience with Raytheon accounting structures, perform flux analyses, assist with audits, and contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting efforts. This is an onsite/hybrid opportunity within RTX’s finance team.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with SAP and/or similar financial systems.
• Experience with MS Office tools including Excel.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to government access restrictions.

Job Summary

The Raytheon Financial Accounting organization has an opening for an Analyst, Accounting & Controllership. The position is an excellent opportunity for a self‑motivated financial analyst with strong analytical skills to gain valuable experience at the Business Unit Headquarters level. The selected team member will develop an understanding of Raytheon accounting structures and systems. The position will be responsible for general accounting support including journal entry preparation, balance sheet account reconciliations, and ad hoc analysis. Other areas of exposure include flux analysis, audit deliverables, and other accounting and financial‑related activities.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
