The Raytheon Financial Accounting organization has an opening for an Analyst, Accounting & Controllership. The position is an excellent opportunity for a self‑motivated financial analyst with strong analytical skills to gain valuable experience at the Business Unit Headquarters level. The selected team member will develop an understanding of Raytheon accounting structures and systems. The position will be responsible for general accounting support including journal entry preparation, balance sheet account reconciliations, and ad hoc analysis. Other areas of exposure include flux analysis, audit deliverables, and other accounting and financial-related activities.
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field. Working experience with SAP and/or similar financial systems. Working experience with MS Office tools including Excel.
U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective‑bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
