Raytheon, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks an Analyst, Accounting & Controllership to join the Financial Accounting organization at the Business Unit Headquarters level. You will perform general accounting support, including journal entries, reconciliations, and ad hoc analyses, while gaining exposure to flux analysis and audit deliverables.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Working experience with SAP and/or similar financial systems.
• Working experience with MS Office tools including Excel.
• U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare schedules for Financial Reporting and Tax.
• Ensuring compliance with key internal control procedure.
• Reviewing, preparing and posting manual journal entries requests.
• Assist with audit requests.
• Perform monthly, quarterly and annual flux analysis and reports.
• Analyzing Balance Sheet accounts and reconciliations.
• Participate in special projects and analysis.
