HireBetter is seeking a Financial Analyst with a builder and systems mindset for a remote role in the United States. The position pays $80,000 to $95,000 base plus a bonus and offers a clear path to Senior Financial Analyst.
You will build metrics and reporting, define definitions across teams, and integrate data from legacy systems with a new data lake as the ERP implementation approaches. Strong budgeting and forecasting skills are essential.
Remote | $80k to $95k base + bonus | Path to Senior Financial Analyst
The mission is simple to say and hard to do: get rid of the pharmacy delays that hold up clinics, so people can get their medication at the point of care and not days later. Our client is a high-growth healthcare services company that’s been around for decades and still runs like a startup: lean, fast, and built on ownership.
Here’s the honest picture of this role. The inventory and transactional data sit in a legacy platform, and invoicing and payables run through another system. The new ERP isn’t live yet. Reporting doesn’t yet exist at the level leadership needs.
You’ll report to the CFO and build the metrics and reporting the executive team runs the business on. That starts with deciding what we measure and getting everyone onto one set of definitions, then putting daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on top of the new data lake and the older systems they still depend on.
You’ll set cost standards, explain variances, and recommend what to do about them, and help with budgets, forecasting, and inventory analysis. You’ll work with operations and pharmacy leaders to find what’s slowing clinic deliveries and put a dollar figure on fixing it. Pricing and profitability work is part of the job, but a small part. When the new ERP goes live in the next 12 to 18 months, you’ll help shape how finance data is set up for it. Through all of it, you’ll tell the story behind the numbers to people at every level and own it from analysis through recommendation.
You see something broken and fix it without being asked. You’d rather ship a decent first version this week than a perfect one next quarter. You own the outcome even when the data is messy and the answer isn’t welcome, and you say what you see plainly, with numbers you can stand behind. You work well with operators and can explain finance without losing anyone. You like building tools and automating things you’d otherwise do twice.
If you want a documented playbook before you start, you’ll be frustrated. If you’d rather maintain existing spreadsheets than replace them, prefer a defined lane where you finish tasks and hand them off, or wait for someone to define the problem, this won’t be a fit.
Base salary is $80,000 to $95,000 depending on experience, plus an annual performance bonus of up to 10 percent. Benefits include health, dental, vision, paid holidays, and paid time off. Authorization to work in the United States without visa constraints and standard background check and drug screening apply.
You’ll be in front of the CFO and executive team from day one, and Senior Financial Analyst is the natural next step as your scope grows. Advancement, not tenure, follows the results you deliver.
Do I have to work from an office? No, this role is remote, but we aren’t able to hire in NY, NJ, MD, WA, or CA at this time.
Do I need a CPA or an MBA? They’re a plus, not a requirement. The CFO cares more about initiative and the right person than credentials.
Qualified applicants will be responded to as quickly as possible.
