Job description

We are a small, nimble technology development and consulting firm dedicated to solving "sticky" healthcare problems through simple, elegant solutions. We bridge the gap between deep industry subject matter expertise and rapid technology iteration. Our work spans the healthcare spectrum—from community health centers to large national providers, managed care companies, and commercial insurers. At our core, we are innovators who care about our clients and their ability to deliver services. Many of our clients serve almost exclusively Medicaid populations, so efficiency and effectiveness is essential. Additionally, understanding the complex policy and regulatory environment surrounding Medicaid, Medicare, and other social service programs is key to our DNA.We manage large-scale SaaS products and are constantly applying lessons learned from our consulting engagements to refine and improve our software. If you thrive in a fast-paced, "fun-first" environment where your work directly impacts the efficiency of the healthcare system, you'll fit right in.

The Role

We are seeking a Finance Analyst who is ready to grow alongside us. You will be responsible for navigating complex financial landscapes and translating massive datasets into actionable insights. This role isn't just about spreadsheets; it's about using emerging technologies to build better analytical frameworks and supporting the evolution of our SaaS offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and interpret large transaction datasets to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Assist in applying industry knowledge to solve complex financial problems for our diverse client base (Providers, Payers, and CBOs).
  • Work closely with our tech team to apply lessons learned from financial consulting to improve the functionality of our SaaS products.
  • Constantly bring new, creative approaches to every internal and client-facing challenge we encounter.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of professional experience within a major health system, specifically working for a provider or a payer in reimbursement or revenue cycle management.
  • Proven ability to manipulate and analyze large, complex transaction datasets.
  • Comfortable using and experimenting with emerging technologies for analytical and software development purposes.
  • A "nimble" approach to work—excited about rapid iteration and high-growth environments.
  • Fully remote position with flexibility to work from where you are most productive.
  • Very minimal travel requirements.
  • Tremendous trajectory for career advancement as we expand our product offerings and service lines.
  • Fun, collaborative environment where innovation is the baseline, not the exception.
