What are we looking for in our Financial Analyst?

Russell Tobin's client, a multinational manufacturing and automotive company, is seeking a Financial Analyst to work remotely.

The role involves identifying, assessing, and managing risks within the organization. The successful candidate will participate in developing and implementing risk management strategies, policies, and procedures to minimize potential losses and ensure compliance with regulations. Responsibilities include completing risk assessments, analyzing data, and providing recommendations.

Employment Type : Contract / Remote

Pay rate : $38-$44 / hr, DOE

Responsibilities

1. Insurance Program Management :
2. Participate in the development, evaluation, and implementation of the company’s global risk insurance programs, including US and international programs.
3. Facilitate daily activities such as internal information requests for policies, insurance certificates, auto ID cards, accounting/billing, claims coordination, and property loss control services.
4. Collaborate with brokers to support underwriting data collection and prepare necessary applications, submissions, proposals, and presentations.
5. Serve as the single point of contact for facilities regarding insurance inquiries.
6. Review contractual insurance provisions in coordination with brokerage partners.
7. Assist with Workers Compensation Monopolist State Filing.
8. Review insurance language in customer contracts.
9. Support the development of the Risk Management Information System.
10. Process and track invoicing for all insurance programs.

Claims Management

1. Work closely with brokers and insurance partners to manage claims effectively and efficiently.
2. Retrieve and analyze claims data, facilitating timely closure of claims with insurance partners.
3. Perform risk analysis, including underwriting information, coverage placement, loss forecasting, and analysis to maximize asset protection and reduce losses, often acting as the lead for coverage placement.
4. Conduct risk assessments to mitigate liability and contractual risks.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• At least five (5) years of experience with an insurance carrier, broker, or in corporate risk management.
• Familiarity with Risk Management Information Systems, data integrity, and reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or risk management.
• CPCU / ARM designations are a plus.
