Job summary

WorldVue is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our finance team in Houston. You will deliver financial insights, support forecasting and planning, and partner with departments to drive performance and scalable reporting solutions.

The role requires strong analytical skills, ERP experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while helping to shape strategic decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical experience.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of international exchange rates and global markets.
  • Advanced Excel, Power BI, and SQL proficiency.
  • Experience with mid-market ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Business Central.
  • Detail-oriented, with ability to multitask and manage time.

Responsibilities

  • Manage annual operating plan with bottoms-up budgeting.
  • Develop and maintain integrated financial models (P&L, cash flow, forecasts).
  • Prepare financial analyses and business cases for initiatives.
  • Lead monthly/quarterly rolling forecast cycles and highlight risks.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide commentary to leadership.
  • Maintain multi-year financial plans for growth initiatives.
  • Evaluate new opportunities with financial modeling and risk assessment.
  • Collaborate with leaders to set ambitious operating targets and provide guidance.
  • Define, track, and report key performance indicators.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and improve reporting processes.
  • Prepare ad-hoc analyses and presentations for special projects.

Job description

The Financial Analyst will be a key member of the finance team, providing critical financial insights

and analytical support to drive business performance and strategic decision-making. This role is

responsible for analyzing financial and operational results, developing forecasts and budgets,

preparing management reporting, and supporting long-term planning initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-oriented finance professional who thrives in a fast paced,

high-growth environment. This individual is comfortable working independently, partnering

across departments, and developing scalable processes and reporting solutions in an evolving

organization. In addition to strong analytical and technical skills, the successful candidate will be

highly collaborative and excel at building strong working relationships, communicating effectively

with stakeholders across the organization, and contributing to a team-oriented culture focused on

continuous improvement and shared success.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage annual operating plan process, coordinating with functional leaders to develop bottoms-up budgets that align with company strategic objectives
  • Support the development and maintenance of integrated financial models, including profit and loss, cash flow, budgeting forecasting, and long-range planning models.
  • Prepare financial analysis and business cases to support strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and investment decisions.
  • Manage monthly and quarterly rolling forecast cycles, maintaining a forward-looking view of financial performance and communicating risks and opportunities to leadership.
  • Partner with Accounting and business teams to perform variance analysis and provide meaningful commentary on financial and operational results.
  • Maintain and enhance multi-year financial plans to support strategic planning and organizational growth initiatives.
  • Evaluate new business opportunities, capital investments, and specific projects through financial modeling, cash flow analysis, and risk assessment.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders to establish realistic yet ambitious operating targets, challenge assumptions, and provide financial guidance throughout planning cycles.
  • Define, track, and report on key performance indicators that provide leadership with actionable insights into business performance.
  • Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve financial reporting, planning, and analytical processes.
  • Prepare ad-hoc analyses, reporting, and presentations for various special projects.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 3-5 years of work experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or a related analytical role
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Working knowledge of international exchange rates, coupled with a natural curiosity for global financial markets and the impact of currency movements on business operations.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with business intelligence and data analysis tools like Power BI and SQL
  • Experience with mid-market ERP systems preferably Microsoft Business Central
  • High attention to detail with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time efficiently
  • Self-driven individual with proactive response times
  • Ability to manage priorities and workload with constant direction
