Job summary

AMISEQ is seeking a Finance Analyst to support Marketing and GTM strategy within a high-energy FP&A team in San Jose. You will manage operating expenses, capex, and headcount, and deliver variance analyses and detailed forecasts to guide strategic decisions.

The role requires 8+ years in FP&A with strong Excel, ERP planning systems, and Tableau experience. You will partner with Marketing and Sales finance, contribute to monthly closes, and provide executives with timely insights.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Finance or Accounting required.
• MBA or equivalent finance leadership exposure preferred.
• Experience building and presenting financial analyses to executives.

Responsibilities

• Manage operating expenses, capex and headcount for budget, forecast and actual.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly variance analysis to explain variances to budget.
• Collaborate with Senior Director, WW Sales Finance for business partnership.
• Develop detailed financial forecasts using historic and current data.
• Publish monthly and quarterly reports to executives and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Accounting for journal entries and accruals in monthly close.
• Partner with Marketing to build Opex forecasts and maintain financial discipline.
• Oversee purchase order creation and approval processes.
• Maintain Tableau dashboards for weekly spend tracking and executive insights.
• Contribute to Ad hoc financial analyses for key business decisions.

The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team within a small high energy team providing finance partnership to business leaders across all functions. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a high impact team in a rapidly growing organization. We provide analysis to support strategic decisions, conduct financial reviews of a wide range of business issues and manage financial processes such as planning, forecasting, reporting and tracking performance.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with exceptional analytical skills to join us as a Finance Analyst supporting Marketing and GTM strategy. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, highly analytical, organized, and have considerable experience managing and forecasting operating expense, compiling and analyzing a variety of metrics.

Your Role:

• Manage operating expenses, capex and headcount for budget, forecast and actual
• Prepare monthly/quarterly variance analysis to identify and explain significant variances to budget
• Work closely with Senior Director, WW Sales Finance to provide business partnership support
• Develop detailed financial forecasts incorporating historic, trended and current business information
• Publish monthly and quarterly reports to executives and internally
• Collaborate with the Accounting team to prepare journal entries and accruals as part of the monthly close process
• Partner with Marketing to build short-term and long-term Opex forecasts and drive solid operating cadence and financial discipline across all sub-teams
• Overseeing the creation and approval for purchase orders
• Help maintain and update designs when needed in Tableau dashboards to track spending each week for each sub team and providing Executives with live and insightful results
• Participation in Ad hoc projects and financial analysis to support key business decisions, as needed.

What You'll Bring:

• BA/BS in Finance or Accounting with at least 8 years of FP&A related experience; MBA and/or experience in Marketing/GTM strategy finance highly preferred
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and logical functions
• Experience with ERP/Planning Systems (Adaptive Planning/NetSuite is a plus)
• Experience with Coupa/Salesforce/Tableau/Google docs a plus
