Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our growing finance team. This role plays a critical part in driving financial visibility, supporting operational planning, and maximizing the efficiency of our billing and reporting processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and excited about making an impact in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment—especially within the travel industry.

What You'll Do

  1. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries to ensure general ledger accuracy
  2. Conduct variance analysis to identify key financial drivers and trends
  3. Build and maintain the annual budget and monthly forecasts through cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders
  4. Prepare and manage ongoing billing and reporting for external clients, ensuring timeliness and accuracy
  5. Collaborate with finance leadership to improve billing efficiency and enhance key financial metrics such as EBITDA and cash flow
  6. Support improvements in the client reporting process and contribute to reporting automation efforts
  7. Partner with internal clients to build bottoms-up forecasts and budgets aligned with business goals
  8. Assist during annual budget reviews and provide insights and support during forecasting cycles
  9. Implement and run enhancements to billing and financial reporting processes

What You Bring

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  2. Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in finance or accounting
  3. Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables required)
  4. Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools
  5. Familiarity with Oracle or large-scale ERP systems
  6. Strong understanding of financial statements and key metrics
  7. Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  8. High attention to detail and a proactive approach to solving problems
  9. Previous experience in the travel industry or working with Travel Management Companies is a plus
  10. Ability to travel domestically as needed (typically at the beginning and/or end of the fiscal year)
