Job summary

hireneXus is seeking a Financial Analyst to drive financial and operational outcomes through hands-on analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. You will partner with finance and operations leaders to assess performance, analyze variances, and surface insights for informed decisions.

The role involves building models, reporting packages, and supporting recurring and special projects in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Hybrid work arrangement is offered with a balance of office and remote days.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 2+ years in corporate finance, FP&A, or operational finance.
  • Solid grasp of income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow.
  • Hands-on budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; comfortable with large datasets.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Strong communicator able to collaborate across all levels.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clear decisions.
  • Experience in multi-entity environments; healthcare background is a plus.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with finance and operational leaders as a hands-on contributor to business and financial decisions.
  • Help build annual budgets and maintain ongoing forecasts across multiple entities.
  • Prepare accurate, on-time financial reporting packages for internal teams and external partners.
  • Explain variances by comparing actual results to budget and forecast.
  • Join regular financial review meetings with operational leaders to discuss performance and drivers.
  • Calculate provider compensation using established models and data.
  • Build financial models and pro forma analyses for new initiatives, acquisitions, and process changes.
  • Take on ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed.
  • Build cross-departmental relationships to maintain collaboration and alignment.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally to support informed decisions.
  • Maintain integrity, confidentiality, and accountability in all work.

Job description

This role is part of a fast-growing, multi-site healthcare organization. As Financial Analyst, you'll drive financial and operational outcomes through hands-on analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. You'll work closely with finance leaders and operational teams to assess performance, dig into variances, and surface insights that shape real decisions. You'll also build financial models, put together reporting packages, and help with both recurring and one-off financial projects.

Work environment: Hybrid- 3 days in the office, 2 days from home

Key Responsibilities
  • Work directly with finance and operational leaders as a hands-on contributor to business and financial decisions.
  • Help build annual budgets and maintain ongoing forecasts across multiple entities.

Skills and Requirements

  • Solid grasp of financial statements: income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow.
  • Hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, comfortable working with large datasets and building models.
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.
  • Strong communicator who can collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving toward clear decisions.
  • Experience in multi-entity environments; healthcare background is a plus.
