Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Financial Analyst to ensure accuracy of processed expenses and deliver precise financial analyses for various stakeholders. The role supports accounting analyses and reporting to leadership and Corporate Accounting teams.

The successful candidate will analyze invoices, perform reconciliations, and participate in data loads for dashboards, while maintaining confidentiality and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of relevant accounting experience or education is required.
  • Must have financial data analytical skills and experience in preparing high level reports from raw data.
  • Intermediate Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • PC skills including knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP systems.
  • General knowledge of AP/AR functions.
  • Ability to multitask, excellent communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong project management skills and a passion for solving business problems with technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building across all management levels.
  • Collaborative and independent decision-making capability.
  • Innovative, creative, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze invoices to determine charges align with PO and assign cost and GL codes.
  • Provide financial insights and documentation to stakeholders to support data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with leadership to approve invoices and resolve discrepancies.
  • Identify anomalies and investigate charges not aligned with documents.
  • Support Vendor Management and Treasury to set up vendors with proper credentials.
  • Maintain confidentiality of vendor and associate information.
  • Oversee monthly chargeback allocation for telecom and other costs.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of capital assets and depreciation schedules.
  • Prepare and execute monthly data loads to financial dashboard.

The Financial Analyst will be tasked with ensuring the accuracy of processed expenses and delivering precise financial analysis and reporting to various stakeholders within Lennar. This position will also support team members with accounting analysis and reporting to leadership and the Corporate Accounting teams.

Your Responsibilities on the Team
  • Analyze incoming invoices to determine if the charges are in line with the services provided per the PO, then determine and apply the correct assignment of cost and general ledger account codes.
  • Provide financial insights and documentation to Lennar stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to approve invoices pending in queue, proactively resolving any discrepancies or roadblocks.
  • Identify anomalies and inconsistencies on invoices and conduct investigations on charges that do not align with the purchase request documents.
  • Support our Vendor Management and Treasury teams to ensure vendors are set up with proper credentials.
  • Maintain and handle vendor's and associate's confidential information with total discretion.
  • Oversee the monthly chargeback allocation process to divisions for telecom and other cost distributions.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of capital assets and depreciation schedules, identifying trends and areas for optimization.
  • Prepare and execute monthly data loads to the financial dashboard, ensuring data integrity and usability.
  • Maintain and update the allocation database, identifying opportunities for automation and process efficiencies.
  • Develop and upload journal entries for reclassifications and accruals.
  • Identify gaps and or redundancies in processes and initiate improvements in alignment with the team.
  • Drive financial projects and initiatives as assigned by the Finance Manager, contributing to broader business objectives.
Your Toolbox
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, or a related field preferred.

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
