Job summary

Lennar in Miami, FL seeks a Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A to prepare financial reporting of KPIs, support regional/divisional forecasting using Hyperion and EPM, and deliver monthly/quarterly reconciliations and internal reports for senior management.

You will collaborate with corporate FP&A, accounting and the CFO, perform backlog and land/inventory reporting consolidations, and handle ad hoc finance projects with accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
3-5+ years of Financial Reporting experience.
Proficiency in Excel (Macros, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas).
Experience with Essbase, Hyperion and JD Edwards is preferred.
Detail-oriented with strong analytic and communication skills.

Weekly and monthly forecasting, reporting, reconciliations, and analysis.
EPM / Hyperion / Essbase / E1 / Dashboard reconciliations.
Backlog reconciliation and reporting.

Prepare financial reporting of KPIs to provide accurate and timely reporting to management for decision-making purposes and to support strategic initiatives; Support Regional and Divisional teams as it relates to Homebuilding forecasting using EPM (Hyperion), including HB metrics, Constructions Costs, Land and Other COGS; this position prepares numerous monthly and quarterly reconciliations (Essbase, Hyperion, E1), as well as prepares monthly and quarterly internal reports and fulfills ad hoc requests for Finance (Corporate FP&A, Accounting, CFO, Senior Management, etc.).

Your Responsibilities on the Team

Weekly and monthly forecasting, statistical reporting, reconciliations, and analysis.
EPM / Hyperion / Essbase / E1 / Dashboard reconciliations.
Backlog reconciliation and reporting.
Consolidation and reconciliation of Land and inventory reporting
Preparation and compilation of the monthly executive summary reporting.
Quarterly financial and operational reporting.
Special projects and ad-hoc reporting.
Divisional Systems Training and creation of manuals and end-user documentation, including visual inserts
Preparations for Continuous Forecast process.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
3-5 or more years of Financial Reporting experience.
Experience with spreadsheet modeling, data visualization, account reconciliation, and analysis.
Proficiency required in Excel (Macros, Pivot Tables, Graph & Advanced Formulas)
Proficient in Adobe Acrobat, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience and efficiency in Essbase and JD Edwards
Desired experience in Machine Learning, Agentic AI (forecasting, process automation)
Detail-orientated to ensure accuracy in analysis and presentations
Ability to read, research, analyze and interpret general accounting data.
Ability to write reports and general business correspondence across all levels of the organization, including executive management, and effectively respond to questions from Regional/ Divisional executives as well as Corporate executive management.
Ability to formulate effective and efficient work plans (focusing on relevant variables) for analysis projects and identify key areas of reporting improvement.
High initiative and ability to learn independently in a fast-paced environment.

This is primarily a sedentary office position that requires the Senior Financial Analyst to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
