Job summary

E&S Ring, based in Los Angeles, seeks a Financial Analyst to join its Corporate office. The role focuses on managing the general ledger, financial reporting, and cash projections while supporting process improvements.

The candidate will collaborate with senior management, prepare budgets, and forecast financial performance across property portfolios. A 4-year degree in accounting or related field is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent.
• Proficient in full-cycle General Ledger, financial statement prep, monthly accruals and reporting; advanced Excel.
• Yardi Voyager Property Management experience required; Sage Fixed Assets a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly cash reports and monthly cash projections.
• Create, maintain and reforecast budgets for properties and corporate.
• Review monthly financial statements and provide management commentary.
• Forecast property financial performance for onsite and executive teams.

What You’ll Need to Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or greater equivalent is required.
• Must have significant computerized accounting and software use experience in full-cycle General Ledger, financial statement preparation, monthly accruals, and reporting as well as advanced Microsoft Excel spreadsheet skills.
• Strong/Advanced Yardi Voyager Property Management experience is required.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager and Sage Fixed Assets or similar a plus.
• Must be able to work on a team with high visibility within senior management.

• Create, maintain, review, and reforecast the corporate and property’s annual budgets.
• Prepare the weekly cash report and monthly cash projections as needed.
• Review the monthly property financial reports and provide commentary and visibility into financial performance for executive management.
• Prepare job costing, contract management, and reporting on construction projects in the portfolio.
• Forecast property financial performance which will be reported to on-site management, executive management, principals, and lenders.
• Assist in quarterly, semi-annual and annual tax filings
• Assist with year-end tax projections for ownership.
• Review lender-related accounts semi-annually and to ensure lender or self-impounds are accurate. Forecast supplemental property tax calculations as part of the analysis.
• Manage/support ad-hoc reporting needs as requested.
• Foster permanent improvement of the financial reporting by preforming ongoing analysis of processes and providing recommended solutions for business process issues.
• Create new analyses of business trends by creating visual representations such as charts, tables, and graphs.
• Support automated internal financial reporting.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the Manager of Financial Reporting, Controller, or President.
