Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a finance professional to support the delivery of financial performance analytics, financial reporting, payor contracting, cost accounting, and budgeting in alignment with strategy and operational goals.

This role helps develop metrics and measurement systems to monitor quality and outcomes, promote a safe environment for patients, and ensure accurate, timely financial information for decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, accounting, or related field.
• Knowledge of finance, accounting and business management.
• Must be team oriented and able to communicate across staff, management, and leadership.

Job Description

Uses organizational defined solutions and strategies to support the delivery of financial performance analytics, financial reporting, payor contracting, cost accounting, and budgeting in support of strategy, business planning, operational performance, and other decision-making opportunities. Proactively supports efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and promotes a safe environment at Children's by participating in the development of metrics and systems of measurement in quality and outcome.

• Demonstrates ability to prioritize and efficiently complete multiple tasks at the same time.
• Must be team oriented, with the ability to collaborate and effectively communicate at the staff, manager, and director level across the organization.
• Must possess excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Requires strong analytical skills and an understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
• Requires advanced excel skills, inclusive of pivot tables, INDEX, MATCH, vlookup and xlookup. SQL skills preferable in some cases.
• Ability to deliver error free work
