Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Supply Chain Liaison to bridge the supply chain team with clinical end users, driving standardization and utilization management. You will work closely with value analysis councils to identify opportunities and support evidence-based product evaluations.

You will lead conversations with physicians and staff, guide the evaluation process, and train committee members to collect and analyze data.

Qualifications

  • Three years of related experience.
  • One year of experience in managing and supervising staff.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates supply variation for clinical justifications and recommends standardization.
  • Initiates conversations with physicians and clinical staff about standardization.
  • Leads evidence-based product evaluation and provides guidance during evaluation processes.
  • Trains value analysis committee members and supports staff development.
  • Supports substitutions during backorder situations and communicates with stakeholders.
  • Provides feedback on staff performance and workflow status.

Experience

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field

Job Responsibilities
  1. Evaluates identified supply variation for clinical justifications and makes recommendations on standardization practices where applicable.
  2. Initiates/leads conversations with physicians and clinical staff around standardization.
  3. Leads evidence-based product evaluation process.
  4. Provides guidance and oversight during product evaluation process.
  5. Provides clinical guidance on substitutions during backorder situations.
  6. Trains value analysis committee members to manage, participate in, and collect data for product evaluations.
  7. Assist Supervisor and/or Manager with development of staff by: being available to teammates, acting as a resource to help complete complicated/complex tasks, providing on the job training to team, and seeking out opportunities to become actively involved in staff workflow and development.
  8. Provide Supervisor and/or Manager feedback on staff performance, educational needs, and workflow status.
